New Killen's Barbecue ready to bring famed 'cue to Cypress

While the restaurant gets up to full staffing, Killen's Cypress will open daily except Monday at 11 a.m. until sold-out. Permanent hours for lunch and eventually dinner will come later. Barbecue fans can expect the same staple as the original store in Pearland and The Woodlands location: brisket, pork ribs, beef ribs, turkey, pulled pork, sausage, sandwiches, meat plates, and signature sides including potato salad, coleslaw, creamed corn, baked beans, and macaroni and cheese. Eventually the new location will expand offerings to include steaks, a bar menu (think nachos, chili, and wings), and other entrees and specials such as chicken-fried steak and prime rib.
